HOMESAFE AND FRESH START
HomeSafe serves South Shore families at risk for homelessness due to financial hardship, we help to keep our clients “safe at home”. Any unexpected event such as illness, unemployment or hospitalization can easily cause a crisis situation for an impoverished family. Some of the services available to eligible clients include: counseling, information referral, financial assistance with overdue rent, utilities assistance and or help with medical expenses.
Within HomeSafe is a special program called Fresh Start which provides financial assistance to families who are moving from shelters or motels into permanent housing.
